Terms of Use

1. General

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between the operator of HoneyCup (the “Administration”, “we”) and any person using the service (the “User”, “you”).

HoneyCup is an online platform for creating, running and publishing amateur sports tournaments: brackets and standings, match scoring, player statistics, tournament series and related tools (the “Service”).

By using the Service in any way you fully and unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the Service.

2. Subject

The Administration grants the User access to the Service on an “as is” basis. Core functionality is free. Certain advanced features may be paid; their scope and price are published on the relevant pages of the Service, and paid services, payment and refunds are governed by the Public Offer (/legal/oferta).

3. Registration and account

Some features are available without registration. Advanced features may require sign-in via third-party authentication (Google, Yandex) or by email. You agree to provide accurate data, keep your account secure and are responsible for all activity under it.

4. Prohibited actions

When using the Service you must not:

• use bots, scrapers or scripts for mass data collection or to create artificial load;
• disrupt the operation, infrastructure or security of the Service;
• post unlawful content: insults, hate speech, spam, fraud, copyright infringement or third-party personal data without consent;
• attempt unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or to the Service’s internal areas;
• impersonate other people or organizations;
• use the Service to run gambling, betting, sweepstakes or lotteries, or any activity requiring a licence or special permit;
• post third-party trademarks, trade names or logos without the rights holder’s consent — including in tournament, series and team names and in regulation texts;
• use the Service for any unlawful activity.

5. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. The Administration does not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation and is not liable for any direct or indirect damages, lost profit or data loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.

6. Tournaments, entry fees and prizes

The Service is a tool for recording and publishing tournament information. The Administration does not organize tournaments and is not a party to the relationship between an organizer and participants.

• all tournament-related payments (entry fees, prize funds, rewards, refunds) are settled by users directly between themselves, outside the Service;
• the Administration does not accept, hold, transfer or distribute any funds and does not act as a payment agent;
• the Administration does not verify the tournament terms or the announced prize fund and does not guarantee that the organizer will honour them;
• claims regarding the conduct of a tournament, the determination of winners, prize payouts or fee refunds must be addressed to the organizer;
• tournament information is published and edited by users; the Administration is not obliged to retain, restore or confirm previously published versions.

7. Trademarks and rights holder claims

By posting tournament, series or team names, logos and other materials, the user confirms they hold the necessary rights. The Administration does not pre-screen user-submitted materials for third-party rights infringement.

A rights holder who believes that posted materials infringe their trademark or trade name may send a claim to hello@honeycup.ru, stating the rights holder and contact details, the protected subject matter and proof of rights, the URL of the disputed page, and a description of the infringement. The Administration reviews such claims within 10 business days and may remove, hide or rename the disputed material and restrict the posting user’s access.

8. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy. By using the Service you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

The Administration may amend these Terms unilaterally. A new version takes effect once published on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, failing that, under the applicable law at the Administration’s location.
