Draw and seeding: random or by hand
The draw decides who plays whom in round one. Sometimes it is held live at the opening, sometimes the strongest are kept apart in the bracket. HoneyCup supports both.

Random draw
The “Shuffle” button above the bracket places participants at random. Press it as many times as you like until the tournament starts. On the Participants tab, “Shuffle seeding” does the same.
Seeding by list
The order of the participant list is the seeding: number one is the strongest. Seeds are spread across the bracket to meet as late as possible, and they get first-round byes first. In the illustration the top two go straight to the semi-finals.
Drag and drop
- in single and double elimination — swap first-round participants, including moving someone onto a bye slot;
- in group formats — move a participant to another group at a chosen position;
- in a round-robin table and within a group — set the row order, for example by numbers drawn at the draw;
- in the Results format — row order is manual and does not jump as results come in.
